  Course Description
IT Essentials 2: Network Operating Systems is an intensive introduction to networking fundamentals and multiuser/multitasking network operating systems. Characteristics of the Linux and Windows network operating systems will be discussed. Students will explore a variety of topics including installation and configuration procedures. More advanced administrative tasks such as troubleshooting issues, security issues, and remote access will also be covered.
  Performance-Based Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will receive a Certificate of Completion for IT Essentials II: Network Operating Systems. The students’ acquired competencies include:

IT Essentials II: Network Operating Systems, along with Fundamentals of Unix, will help prepare students for the CompTIA Linux+ certification exam.
